HOSTED EXCHANGE NOTIFICATION
This notification applies to Hosted Exchange tenants that use either:
- 2GB Standard Mailboxes, or
- 5GB Standard Mailboxes, or
- Have a mix of Standard and Professional mailboxes.
We wish to inform you that these mailbox types will no longer supported on Hosted Exchange from the 1st of March 2025. This change is necessary for the planned upgrades to the next versions of the Hosted Exchange platform.
To ensure that there is no disruption to your email:
- We will automatically transition 2GB Standard Mailboxes and 5GB Standard Mailboxes to 10GB Standard Mailboxes.
- Changes to your billing will reflect on your February 2025 Invoice for March usage. For ease of reference, the following pricing will apply to Standard 10GB mailboxes on your February 2025 invoice. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

Customers with a mix of Standard and Professional mailboxes will have two options:
Option 1: Transition all Professional mailboxes to Standard mailboxes.
- Email archiving will be disabled. No further mail will be added to the email archive.
- A historical email archiving subscription will be added to your tenant for each Professional mailbox that is transitioned to a Standard mailbox. This archive will be retained for a maximum of 5 years, provided you continue to pay for the subscription.
- Customers will have until the 1st of August 2024 to make use of this option.
- Changes to your billing will reflect on your February 2025 Invoice for March usage. For ease of reference, the following pricing will apply to Standard mailboxes and the Historical Email Archive on your February 2025 invoice. All prices are exclusive of VAT.

Option 2: Automatically transition all Standard mailboxes to Professional mailboxes.
- Email archiving will be applied to all mailboxes.
- The transition will happen automatically if customers do not opt into Option 1 (above) by the 1st of August 2024.
- Changes to your billing will reflect on your February 2025 Invoice for March usage. For ease of reference, the following pricing will apply to Professional mailboxes on your February 2025 invoice. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
